Three dairy and stock farms, Earls Farm - 194 acres, Brooks Farm - 151 acres, Pleydells Farm (Okeford Fitzpaine) - 98 acres. 382 acres of accommodation land in 14 lots, Broad Oak Farm House with 7 acres, 2 modernised cottages at Okeford Fitzpaine. 2 vale dairy farms, Lowbrook Farm - 124 acres (Lower Belchalwell), Manor Farm, Ibberton - 103 acres, 4 village cottages at Ibberton and Okeford, and 1888 acres of accommodation land in 31 lots. For sale by auction in lots for the executors of the late Captain G.H.L.F. Pitt-Rivers at the Sturminster Hall, Sturminster Newton on 21st July 1969.
Bought by Tenant. 'Another investment property Lowbrook Farm, (123 acres) went to the Tenant Mr M.J. Yeatman at £15,000. He also secured two adjoining lots, Brooks Farm (151 acres) at £31,000 and 91 acres on Bell Hill at £8,000. Earls Farm (194 acres) was withdrawn at £30,000, but later sold to Mr Colin Ellis.' Lowbrook Farm, From 'Historical Monuments in the County of Dorset', Royal Commission on Historical Monuments, 1970... 'Timber-frame walls on rubble plinths and is roofed with thatch. To the west is a modern extension. The original building is of the late 16th or early 17th century and was single storied; an upper storey was added perhaps in the 18th century. Inside, large fireplaces back to back under a central chimney stack have been blocked up.
